• François, un tânăr asiatic de treizeci de ani, nu și-a mai vizitat familia timp de 10 ani după o dispută violentă cu tatăl său, Meng. De atunci, el a încercat întotdeauna să evite întrebările despre originea sa, ajungând să mintă pentru a-i face pe cei din jur să creadă că a fost adoptat. Dar când află că va fi tată, François își dă seama că va trebui să se reconecteze cu trecutul și originile sale. Impulsionat de partenera sa Sophie, el decide să se reconecteze cu familia și se întoarce în orașul natal pentru a anunța vestea cea bună, însoțit de cel mai bun prieten al său, Bruno. François este bine primit de familia sa, cu excepția tatălui și a fratelui său mai mic. Se pare că întoarcerea la comunitatea sa nu va fi atât de simplă, iar François va avea de dus la bun sfârșit o misiune delicată.

François, a young thirty-year-old Asian, has not been back in his family for 10 years after a violent dispute with his father Meng. Since then, he has always tried to avoid questions about his origins, until he lies to believe that he has been adopted. But when he learns that he is going to be a father, he realizes that he will have to reconnect with his past and his origins. Pushed by his companion Sophie, he decides to reconnect with his family and returns to his XIIIth native district to announce the good news, accompanied by his best friend Bruno. François is welcomed with open arms by his family, with the exception of his father and his younger brother. The return to his community is not going to be so simple .
